Professional Landscape Contractors
NJLCS provides personalized Landscape Design Consulting Services that cater specifically to other landscape contractors who either not have an experienced designer on staff, do not have the time to develop plans that can be used to improve a contractors sales presentation.
This is achieved as follows:
1. Evaluation Consultation
We meet with either the homeowner or the contractor either individually or as a group to discuss the vision for the project. As we walk through your property we will collectively brainstorm ideas and determine possible solutions. We will then provide you with a proposal for our Landscape Design Consulting Services. Due to the uniqueness and varying complexity of individual projects the costs will vary.
2. Design Concept Creation
Once we are chosen as your landscape consultant we will return to perform a comprehensive site analysis. This includes measuring existing elevations, taking digital photos and specifying any aspects of the project that will remain. We then ask the homeowner to fill out a comprehensive landscape questionnaire to assist us in developing the plan. We will begin to lay out the many aspects of the project that we discussed to prepare an initial conceptual plan. Then we collaborate on the conceptual ideas and will make any corrections or changes to the plan. We will repeat this process until the homeowner is completely satisfied.
3. Final Plan Approval
Once we have the final conceptual layout approval, we will finalize any details and provide you with a copy of the scaled drawing including all plant and hardscape materials selections. With the efficiency of a detailed, to scale drawing in hand, you are able to confidently prepare your estimate. Contingency plans can also be made with us if you require assistance with specific construction details or require assistance with permits or construction drawings at a pre-approved rate.
