A stunning landscape begins with a professionally executed plan based on a complete understanding of the client’s needs and budget.  NJLCS combines the elements of creativity (color, textures and function), and science (soil structure, sun/shade conditions and elevations).  Both are needed to create a functional synthesis of indoor and outdoor living spaces. Landscape Design also works to blend man's hard lines (houses and buildings) into nature’s surroundings and in order to do that one must have a plan.

NJLCS offers uniquely crafted landscapes emphasizing on the use of natural stone materials and native plant materials to be sensitive to our environment.  When you put as much time and effort into the renovation of your home, should you not consider a professionally prepared landscape plan as well?

NJLCS works with a variety of clients but we believe that there are four simple steps to fulfilling every landscape dream: 

1. Evaluation Consultation

During our initial meeting we will discuss your vision for the project.  As we walk through your property we will brainstorm ideas and determine possible solutions.  We will then determine if your project can be quickly estimated or if it requires a more thorough design.

2. Design Concept Creation

Once we are chosen to design your project we will return to perform a comprehensive site analysis.  This includes measuring existing elevations and specifying any aspects of the project that will remain.  We then ask you to fill out a comprehensive landscape questionnaire to assist us in developing your plan.  We will begin to integrate the many aspects of the project that we discussed to prepare an initial concept plan.  We will collaborate together on the concept and will make any corrections or changes to the plan and will repeat this process until you are completely satisfied.

3. Final Plan Approval

Once we have your concept approval we will finalize and provide you with a copy of the scaled drawing including all plant and hardscape materials selections.  We can then provide you with a detailed proposal outlining the exact costs associated with your landscape project including any phasing necessary to complete the project within your specified budget.

4. Project Implementation

With a final plan and approved construction contract, we now have the opportunity to put our decades of construction and project management experience to work for you.  If any outside contractors are required we will coordinate with them to ensure that the project is completed on time and within the budget of our contract.
